THE RIVER LOVERS' is the "fun side" of our community awareness program. It is a big tent organization for men, women and children. The only qualification for membership is - you love the rivers and want to make sure that the Mississippi, Missouri and Illinois rivers are preserved and protected for commercial use, recreational fishing, boating and of course, as a high quality source of fresh water for human, livestock and your home use. We are always looking for new members for our River Lovers' organization. The more eyes and ears we have on or near the confluence rivers the more likely we will find and correct problems that are affecting our water quality. We need your support as a River Lover to fund the costs of operating our boat the Safety Valve and paying for the costs of lab testing. The River Lovers can wear T-Shirts, sport bumper stickers and post decals showing support on businesses, marinas, bars and restaurants, B&Bs, inns and at retail shops all along both sides of the rivers. We also throw special "fun raisers" at marinas under the aegis of boat clubs like our pals at Con Trios!
