About Us:

  • St. Louis Confluence Riverkeeper (SLCR)is a 501c3 not for profit organization dedicated to protecting the waters of the three great rivers in the metropolitan St. Louis area.

  • One of the main responsibilities of the SLCR is to investigate potential problems that might jeopardize our waterways.

  • SLCR is a member of the Waterkeeper Alliance.  Waterkeeper Alliance is a worldwide group of waterkeepers; riverkeepers, baykeepers, soundkeepers, harborkeepers, lakekeepers, and more.  Each works full time to insure that the waters they protect have an excellent water quality as possible.

  • In the greater St. Louis area the Riverkeeper is Mike Bush.  He can be reached at the “Contact Riverkeeper” tab on the left.  Mike is a lifelong resident of the area.  He has been a boater since age 16.  He lives with his family in Richmond Heights, MO, a suburb of St. Louis.
